POETRY ARTICLES & ESSAYS PERSIAN

You can read my article/interview with Vivienne Westwood here.
What you won’t read there is that while posing for photos, Vivienne immediately noticed my scent. She asked me what it was, and then, “Where?”

“Oh, I got it from Dover Street–”
“No, I mean, where on your body?”
“On my neck!”

So she leaned in and sniffed me. After the shoot, she quietly disappeared into her room and walked out holding one of her own perfumes. She asked to spray it on my wrist to see how it sat on my skin. It sat perfectly.

Like most successful people, Vivienne knows what she likes, and knows exactly what she doesn’t like. I’ve been entering some new territories recently, which I will write about shortly, so I’m interested in different recipes for decision making. And that sort of conviction — that’s the sort of thing you want to smell like.
