This one by the label that makes my favourite scarves and no, they’re not paying me to say this. But let me just say, I like supporting emerging designers/artists. Creative industries are solitary, competitive, and absurd – let Jerry Saltz tell you more. So I’m more than happy to promote independent creators who are just doing it and doing it right. What you will never catch me do (and please call me out if I ever completely lose my mind or get high and cave) is listing or tagging name brands on my outfits. Unless, idk, they’re financing my films or I come across an insane pair of shoes that are actual art. Maybe then.
Anyway, let’s not talk about possibilities. Here’s this long-ish interview with Sylvain of Les Belles Heures which I used as a self-reflective break from the insanity that is making a feature documentary; but that’s another story, for another post.
